I won my first race in "A" strictly stock at Biloxi in 1965 driving my 65 Malibu SS with a 327ci 350 hp brand new car. I later ran AFX and "A" stock. I won the Mississippi State championship in "A" strictly stock in Hub City that same year running 13.80. It was a fast car straight from the factory with a 4-speed 331 posi-rear end. I came and saw a lot of the big racers at Biloxi Drag Strip. I even recognize some of the other guys names listed that raced when I did.
